Diaspora opportunities in the pandemic: Amie Bangura’s relocation to Sierra Leone

African diaspora communities are increasingly making a second home in their home countries or completely relocating to create or take advantage of opportunities. At the height of the pandemic, Amie Bangura, an established business practitioner across several European countries moved back to Sierra Leone to establish agriculture initiatives. She speaks to Tchiyiwe Chihana about her reason for relocation during the pandemic, her experiences of exploring opportunities including her motivation to empower women through land acquisition and agriculture.
