PSVI CONFERENCE: Delegates promised action to prevent sexual violence in conflict initiatives

The Prevention of Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative (PSVI) Conference 2022, was hosted by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCDO) on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th November. More than 1000 delegates from 70 different countries attended the conference at the Queen Elizabeth centre , where they promised to take concrete global action to end conflict-related sexual violence.

AVP reporter Baillor Jalloh was at the conference and spoke to various delegates including those from South Sudan, survivors from Guinea and Yasmin Sooka, Chair of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan.
