Guinea: Junta marks one year in power

On Monday 5th September 2022, marks one year since Guinea's junta led by Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya overthrew former president Alpha Conde in what was described as a new era for the country. However, in recent months, the population that once welcomed Mr Doumbouya and his special forces are protesting against them.

The opposition and other civil society groups in the country have accused the junta of wanting to cling to power. On this special edition, Baillor Jalloh is joined by Cherif Bah, Dian Bah and Mamadou Aliou Bah to discuss Guinea the way forward.
