Kelham Island gets a new African & African-Caribbean Takeaway

Paulina Francis is famed for catering at festivals and markets around the South Yorkshire area as Blessone’s Kitchen. On 28th January, she opened a takeaway outlet inside the Krynkl space in Sheffield’s Kelham Island which was created to showcase “the best and most exciting independent start-ups and businesses” from Sheffield.

Paulina is a qualified Chef and her unique food draws inspiration from her West African heritage cuisine to that of African-Caribbean tastes. Operating from her kitchen for several years, Paulina has been serving food to premier league footballers for several years and has also been part of the catering team for Sir Elton John. We were on hand at the launch and spoke to the budding entrepreneur.
