Climate activists call on world leaders to tackle climate emergency

As COP27 draws close to an end last weekend, hundreds of climate activists took part in a rally in Sheffield city centre, calling on world leaders deliberating at the climate conference in Egypt to act quickly to tackle what they described as the climate emergency. The rally was part of a global day of action on climate change, held in cities and towns across the world. African Voices Platform was present at the rally and spoke to some activists who have concerns about the lack of support to developing countries who are currently most affected by the climate crisis despite being the low emitters.
